CAS Large Research Infrastructure Sharing Service Platform
Under the overall scheme of “the Opinions on Openness of National Major Science and Technology Infrastructure and Large-Scale Scientific Instrument to the Society” of the State Council and the organizational reform requirements of the academy's Pioneer Initiative, the Sharing Service Platform of CAS Large Research Infrastructure was started to be developed in 2015. The platform aims to improve the accessibility and use efficiency of large research infrastructure by supporting the e-management of open access procedures, accessible data and resources and research outputs. By the end of 2017, the platform has attracted more than 22,000 users and supported 8263 research projects with 9 machine-sharing facilities like Beijing Electron Positron Collider and 8 data-sharing facilities like the Ground Station of China Remote Sensing Satellite.
