The Computer Network Information Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CNIC, CAS) was founded in 1995. CNIC is poised to continue to lead the development, deployment, and support of the e-Science infrastructure of CAS. To strengthen the capabilities of innovation and to promote research and support services for rapidly developing e-Science activities within CAS and in China, we are seeking for two outstanding candidates in the areas of Computer Networking and High Performance Computing respectively. These two candidates are expected to have demonstrated track records of publishing on leading journals of their fields. A candidate is preferred to be, or willing to become, a Chinese citizen. Consideration will only be given to those who are under the age of 45, and have PhD degrees and academic appointments equivalent to Assistant Professor or higher within excellent academic/research programs. Candidates are required to have four consecutive years’ oversea research experience after receiving their PhD. The selected candidates will be supported by the prestigious CAS “Bairenjihua Professorship” with full benefits.
