The Computer Network Information Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CNIC, CAS) was founded in 1995. CNIC is dedicated to support the advanced information technology infrastructure of CAS, with a focus placed on the development, operation, and management of the basic resources for China's Internet. CNIC acts as an essential base of research and development for advanced computing and networking technologies and their applications, and serves as a leading element of advanced science & engineering networks of both national and international scopes.
|CNIC is poised to continue to lead the development, deployment, and support of the e-Science infrastructure of CAS. To strengthen the capabilities of innovation and to promote research and support services for rapidly developing e-Science activities within CAS and in China, we are seeking for two outstanding candidates in the areas of Computer Networking and High Performance Computing respectively. These two candidates are expected to have demonstrated track records of publishing on leading journals of their fields. A candidate is preferred to be, or willing to become, a Chinese citizen. |
|Consideration will only be given to those who are under the age of 45, and have PhD degrees and academic appointments equivalent to Assistant Professor or higher within excellent academic/research programs. Candidates are required to have four consecutive years’ oversea research experience after receiving their PhD. The selected candidates will be supported by the prestigious CAS “Bairenjihua Professorship” with full benefits. |
