FCS Youth AE Symposium Held at CNIC

FCS (Frontier of Computer Sciencey) Youth AE symposium was held successfully at Computer Network Information Center (CNIC), Chinese Academy of Sciences on Nov. 2, 2016. This symposium was hosted by Prof. He Haiwu CNIC with a topic on Blockchain technology. 
 
 
During the meeting, Dr. Chen Wei of FCS editor board gave a brief introduction of the FCS journal. Prof. Ma Xiaofeng from Tongji University introduced the thoughts and practices of Tongji University on Blockchain. Prof. Wang Wei from Beijing Jiaotong Uinviersity made a presentation on Blockchain security and applications. Prof. Zhu Jianming, Dean of the Central University of Finance and Economics, gave a report on Blockchain and Internet of Values, clarifying that the Blockchain network will be the infrastructure of Internet of Values. Prof. Zhang Xiong, FCS executive editor-in-chief, finally gave a closing speech on future development perspective of FCS and Blockchain technology. The symposium of Blockchain will be helpful for promoting the academic discussion on Blockchain R&D in Chinese universities and research institutes and facilitating the application of relevant research projects. 
Initiated in February 2007, FCS is an international English-language academic journal which publishes latest research findings of computer science. Co-administrated by Higher Education Press and Beihang University, it has been indexed by SCI(E) and EI. Started in 2012, the call of FCS Young AE Project has been actively supported and responded by a considerable number of distinguished Chinese universities as well as excellent young Chinese scholars. Young AE Project builds a platform for academic exchange among young scholars and benefits the further development of FCS.
