The 6th China Scientific Data Conference will be held in Guiyang, Guizhou Province from August 21 to 23, 2019. The conference will be hosted by the Chinese National Committee for the Committee on Data (CODATA) of the International Council for Science, co-hosted by the National Science and Technology Infrastructure Center, the General Office of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Department of Information Sciences, National Natural Science Foundation of China.
Organized by the Computer Network Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), National Astronomical Observatories of the CAS, and Guizhou Normal University, the conference is expected to attract around 400 scientists and data experts from a diversity of disciplines such as physical science, environmental science, earth science, medical science, biological science and agricultural science.
Themed on scientific data and large research facility, the conference will address the frontiers of data management, data infrastructure and data applications for driving scientific innovation and social development.
China Scientific Data Conference is an important academic conference among the scientific data community in China which has attracted nearly 10,000 participants since 2014.
