Computer Network Information Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CNIC, CAS) was founded in 1995 after its founding members participated in National Computing and Networking Facility implemented by CAS,  Peking University, Tsinghua University. We acknowledge early experts supporting Internet connectivity, and pay our respect to the past, present and emerging e-infrastructures for research to support open science. The International Data Week (IDW) is hosted by International Science Council’s Committee on Data (CODATA) and World Data System (WDS), and the Research Data Alliance (RDA). CNIC of CAS, supporting organization of CODATA China secretariat and co-host organization of CODATA’s Global Open Science Cloud initiative, regularly participate in the organization of sessions related to open science during IDW, in particular open data and connectivity among emerging e-infrastructures for research. IDW 2025 will be delivered by our partner Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC), Australia’s leading research data infrastructure organization and other local organizations.
