The Journal Editorial Department (http://.escj.cnic.cn), founded in December 2007, is responsible for publishing ‘e-Science Technology and Application’ and ‘CAS Informatization Work’ aiming to spread latest e-Science progress to relevant authorities and research institutes.
e-Science Technology and Application
"e-Science Technology and Application" is a comprehensive academic journal founded by CAS Computer Network Information Center(CNIC). It aims to reflect the progress in e-Science technology and application in the world, carry out researches on e-Science construction and development strategies of China and seek for the mechanism and strategy for promoting Chinese e-Science. Focusing on e-Science technological development and applications, it also introduces in a systematic way the latest progress of e-Science technology, e-Science development strategy and policy researches, including super computing, scientific data acquisition, storage and processing, network and collaborative environment and virtual organizations, and the research progress of trust network, information management system and technology and their application in science and engineering technology, to provide scientists with useful information.

The "Newsletter of CAS Informatization" jointly founded by CAS Informatization Steering Team Office and CAS Computer Network Information Center(CNIC) aims to “Timely report the informatization work arrangements of CAS, make exchanges and communication about the progress of CAS informatization work, facilitate CAS informatization development, boost and promote CAS informatization achievements and create a favorable informatization situation in CAS”.
