At the Host Speaker Series panel titled "Building the Foundation of the Internet Together, Collaborating for the Development in Standards," Yanbiao Li, Professor and Director of Frontier Technology Lab, CNIC, CAS, delivered a keynote report. Titled "Driving IT Innovation with Advanced Information Technology — CNIC's Practice in Industry-Academia Integration," his presentation systematically introduced the cloud-network integration innovation test platform developed by his team and highlighted the latest research outcomes in Internet routing security and satellite Internet. At the agent-related technology forum, Associate Researcher Xiaohui Nie detailed RoutePilot, a routing security operations and maintenance system based on multi-agent technology. Meanwhile, at the satellite network transmission technology forum, Associate Researcher Xian Yu shared his team's research progress regarding space-based computing networks. These reports garnered extensive attention from the domestic and international experts in attendance.
To support young scholars in participating in international standard formulation and expanding their global perspectives, the Internet Society of China and other organizations jointly launched the "IETF Chinese Youth Talent Program." Three young scholars from CNIC—doctoral students Chenhui Yu and Yingqian Hao, along with visiting doctoral student Zhuoran Ma—received funding from this program to participate in the entire IETF meeting. By systematically studying the IETF's operational mechanisms and standard-setting processes, as well as deeply understanding its core philosophy of "rough consensus and running code," these young scholars have laid a solid foundation for translating future technological achievements into international standards.
