Asia Pacific Advanced Network
The Asia Pacific Advanced Network (APAN, click here to link to APAN website) refers to both the organisation representing its members, and to the backbone network that connects the research and education networks of its member countries/economies to each other and to other research networks around the world.
APAN is initialed by APAN-China, APAN-Japan and other international originations. APAN-China is mainly constituted by the China Science and Technology Network (CSTNET) and the China Education and Research Network (CERNET). As the member of APAN represented by CSTNET, CNIC has participated in the academic events of APAN for over two decades, contributing to the cross-border interaction and cooperation in Asia-Pacific region.
Prof. Li Jun of CNIC currently serves as the Co-Chair of APAN-China.
